Social Networks and Content can complement existing loyalty programs and initiatives to develop new services and build emotional brand loyalty. 

Current programs are based on a points based system, where points mean prizes and do not build the loyalty craved by the brands. 

How many people carry more than one supermarket, coffee shop, hotel or airline loyalty card?

The next gneration of loyalty program need to offer more than just points to be rewarded by customers with their brand preference and loyalty.
